I met Scott and James in Dallas, where they had an acoustic act called The Bolo Brothers. Katy joined in to make it a vocal trio, which moved to Seattle in the early ‘90s. I was invited to join and it gradually became heavier, more plugged in. The name changed to The Bolos and we released our first album, “Hello Danger”, on Belltown Records in ‘93. Next came “This is You”. We were in pre-production for a third when the plug got pulled. Lasted 8 years.
